Kidz Cash Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of information when You use the Kidz Cash mobile application (the "App") and tells You about Your privacy rights and how the law protects You.

Kidz Cash is an allowance and chores tracker for families. A parent or legal guardian signs in and manages the family; children can view their balance and chores on a paired device without an account. By using the App, You agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Interpretation and Definitions

Interpretation

The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

Definitions

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:

  • Account means the account created when an adult signs in to the Application with Sign in with Apple or a Google account.
  • Application means the Kidz Cash mobile application, an allowance and chores tracker for families distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
  • Company (referred to as either "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Agreement) refers to Clientelity LLC, Contact us at [email protected].
  • Country refers to: Missouri, United States
  • Device means any mobile device that can access the Service, such as a mobile phone or tablet.
  • In-App Purchase means a one-time purchase made within the Application through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store that unlocks additional features.
  • Personal Data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
  • Service refers to the Application.
  • Store means the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, as applicable, through which You downloaded the Application and through which In-App Purchases are processed.
  • You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the parent or legal guardian on behalf of a minor who is using the Service, as applicable.

Information We Collect

Account Information

Adults sign in with Sign in with Apple (on iOS) or a Google account (on Android). When You sign in, the sign-in provider shares with Us an identifier for Your account and, depending on the choices You make with the provider, Your name and email address (including an Apple private relay address if You choose to hide Your email). We store this information to create and maintain Your Account.

Family Data You Enter

To provide the Service, We store the information You enter in the App on Our servers, including Your family name, children's names (a first name or nickname is sufficient), allowance balances, transaction history, and weekly chores. This data is synchronized between the Devices in Your family.

In-App Purchases

If You make an In-App Purchase, the purchase and any associated payment information is processed by the Store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). We do not receive or store Your payment card details. The Store may provide Us with limited transaction information (such as a transaction identifier and the item purchased) so that We can fulfill Your purchase and restore it on Your Devices. The processing of Your payment is governed by the Store's terms and privacy policy.

Camera

The App requests access to Your Device's camera solely to scan the QR code used to pair a child's Device with Your family. We do not take, store, or transmit photos or videos.

Technical and Usage Data

We do not use any third-party analytics service and We do not track the screens You view or build a profile about You. When the Application communicates with Our servers, We may receive minimal technical information that is inherent to network communication, such as Your Device's Internet Protocol (IP) address. This information is used only as needed to operate and secure the Service and is not used to identify or track You.

We do not use advertising identifiers, do not serve advertising, and do not share information for cross-contextual behavioral advertising.

Use of Your Information

We may use the information described above to:

  • Provide and maintain the Service, including operating and securing the Service, synchronizing Your family's data between Devices, and fulfilling In-App Purchases.
  • Improve the Service, for example by diagnosing technical issues and preventing fraud or abuse.
  • Comply with legal obligations, where applicable.

Sharing of Your Information

We do not sell Your information. We may share information in the following limited situations:

  • With sign-in providers: Sign in with Apple and Google sign-in are provided by Apple and Google, which have their own privacy practices.
  • With the Store: In-App Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, which has its own privacy practices.
  • With service providers: Our servers are hosted by Cloudflare, which processes data on Our behalf to operate the Service.
  • For business transfers: We may share or transfer information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of Company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of Our business to another company.
  • With Your consent: We may disclose information for any other purpose with Your consent.

Retention of Your Data

We retain Your Account information and family data for as long as Your Account is active. You may request deletion of Your Account and all associated data at any time by contacting Us at [email protected].

Any minimal technical information received through network communication is retained only for as long as necessary to operate and secure the Service or as required by law.

Security of Your Data

The security of Your information is important to Us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect information, We cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Your Privacy Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of Your information at any time by contacting Us at [email protected]. We will respond in accordance with applicable law.

Children's Privacy

The Service is designed to be set up and managed by a parent or legal guardian. Children do not create Accounts, sign in, or provide contact information. The only information about a child that We store is what the parent or guardian chooses to enter (such as a first name or nickname, balance, and chores), and We do not collect Personal Data directly from children.

We do not serve advertising in the App and do not use behavioral advertising or analytics. If You are a parent or guardian and believe that Your child has provided Us with information, or You would like Your child's information removed, please contact Us at [email protected] so that We can address the matter.

Links to Other Services

The Service may contain links to other services that are not operated by Us, including the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. If You interact with a third-party service, You will be subject to that third party's terms and privacy policy.

We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party services.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update Our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify You of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy.

You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
