Riftbound Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of information when You use the Riftbound mobile application (the "App") and tells You about Your privacy rights and how the law protects You.

The App does not require You to create an account or sign in. We use Your information only as described in this Privacy Policy. By using the App, You agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Interpretation and Definitions

Interpretation

The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

Definitions

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:

  • Application means the Riftbound mobile application, a trading card game distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
  • Company (referred to as either "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Agreement) refers to Clientelity LLC, Contact us at [email protected].
  • Country refers to: Missouri, United States
  • Device means any mobile device that can access the Service, such as a mobile phone or tablet.
  • In-App Purchase means a purchase made within the Application through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  • Personal Data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
  • Service refers to the Application.
  • Store means the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, as applicable, through which You downloaded the Application and through which In-App Purchases are processed.
  • You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the parent or legal guardian on behalf of a minor who is using the Service, as applicable.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

The Service does not require an account and does not ask You to provide any Personal Data such as Your name, email address, or phone number. We do not collect Personal Data directly from You.

Data Stored on Your Device

The Application stores information locally on Your Device, including Your game progress, decks, collections, and settings. This data is stored on Your Device and is not transmitted to or stored on Our servers.

You can delete this data at any time by uninstalling the Application from Your Device.

In-App Purchases

If You make an In-App Purchase, the purchase and any associated payment information is processed by the Store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). We do not receive or store Your payment card details. The Store may provide Us with limited transaction information (such as a transaction identifier and the item purchased) so that We can fulfill Your purchase. The processing of Your payment is governed by the Store's terms and privacy policy.

Technical and Usage Data

We do not use any third-party analytics service and We do not track the screens You view or build a profile about You. When the Application communicates with Our servers, We may receive minimal technical information that is inherent to network communication, such as Your Device's Internet Protocol (IP) address. This information is used only as needed to operate and secure the Service and is not used to identify or track You.

We do not use advertising identifiers, do not serve advertising, and do not share information for cross-contextual behavioral advertising.

Use of Your Information

We may use the information described above to:

  • Provide and maintain the Service, including operating and securing the Service and fulfilling In-App Purchases.
  • Improve the Service, for example by diagnosing technical issues and preventing fraud or abuse.
  • Comply with legal obligations, where applicable.

Sharing of Your Information

We do not sell Your information. We may share information in the following limited situations:

  • With the Store: In-App Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, which has its own privacy practices.
  • For business transfers: We may share or transfer information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of Company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of Our business to another company.
  • With Your consent: We may disclose information for any other purpose with Your consent.

Retention of Your Data

Data stored on Your Device remains until You uninstall the Application. We do not retain Your game data on Our servers.

Any minimal technical information received through network communication is retained only for as long as necessary to operate and secure the Service or as required by law.

Security of Your Data

The security of Your information is important to Us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect information, We cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Your Privacy Rights

Because the Service does not require an account, You can delete the data stored on Your Device at any time by uninstalling the Application.

Children's Privacy

The Service is rated for the age group assigned by the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children. Because We do not collect Personal Data directly and do not use behavioral advertising, no parental consent is required for Us to operate the Service.

If You are a parent or guardian and believe that Your child has provided Us with information, please contact Us so that We can address the matter. We rely on the parental controls and age ratings provided by the Stores.

If We need to rely on consent as a legal basis for processing information and Your jurisdiction requires consent from a parent, We may require Your parent's consent before We collect and use that information.

Links to Other Services

The Service may contain links to other services that are not operated by Us, including the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. If You interact with a third-party service, You will be subject to that third party's terms and privacy policy.

We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party services.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update Our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify You of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy.

You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
